This quirky asymmetric eating spoon from slightly spalted cherry wood is intended for right handed use only. The hole on the handle is where the was a knot in the wood. It was the last piece of this spalted cherry and too nice to discard so the knot hole became a feature. The wood at the edge may look thin but it follows the grain where it went around the knot and so it’s strong.
