Lavaspoon – cherry and milk paint eating spoon #37

    Length: 16.5cm (6 1/2 inches)
    Bowl width: 4.5cm
    Bowl length: 6.5cm
    Finish: hemp seed oil

A right handed cherry eating spoon with my special red and black milk paint finish and an almost round bowl, folks at Spoonfest called them lavaspoons and the name has stuck.

The milk paint is applied thickly and sanded back to reveal the raised points on the facets. The final rub down is with 0000 wire wool and gives a super smooth finish that is just lovely to hold.

    Cherry coffee scoop

Could call these nudescoops as they’re not painted but that might be rude. Rather lovely colour thought and about 1 tablespoon capacity. Facets catch the light beautifully and the ripple in the handle provides plenty of tactile fun for your thumb.
