I make dining chairs or side chairs using traditional post and rung construction with seats woven from a range of materials including willow, elm bark, rush and danish cord. I also make carvers and more laid back arm chair using similar techiniques. Side chairs are priced around £300 each depending on the wood and seating material. Sets of 4 for £1200 or 6 for £1800. It is possible to incorporate some of your own timber into the chairs if you have had to take down or prune a large tree in your garden or on your land.
